DATA DELETION
Delete your account & data
Last updated: June 2026
How to delete your account
You can delete your Omniteca account and all associated data at any time directly from the app:
- Open the Omniteca app (iOS, Android, or web dashboard at omniteca.app).
- Go to the Me tab.
- Tap Account settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
In-app deletion is immediate. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted the moment you confirm. A confirmation email is sent to your address.
Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, enter your account email address below. We will send a secure, one-time confirmation link to that address — clicking it verifies your identity and completes the deletion without requiring a password. Email requests are processed within 30 days (typically much sooner).
Alternatively, email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my account”.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile and authentication credentials
- All saved content and associated metadata
- Preferences and settings
- Analytics identifiers (PostHog)
- Payment method data (deleted from Stripe immediately)
- Billing records — Stripe retains transaction history for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations. These records are held by Stripe under their privacy policy and are not accessible to Omniteca after your account is deleted.
Export your data first
Before deleting, you can export all your saved content as a JSON file from the app: go to Account settings → Export all saves. Available on iOS, Android, and the web dashboard.
We do not sell your data
Omniteca does not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. This applies to all users, including California residents under the CCPA/CPRA.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or port your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — for example, the Garante (Italy), the ICO (UK), or your country’s supervisory authority listed at edpb.europa.eu.
